Please be very careful and think twice before you post photos on Chowhound. If they like your images they claim they have ownership over your copy right and will not allow the removal of your images. Think twice before you submit ANY content to Chowhound.
There are claims that they have even published a book and altered the posts of members as content.
Chowhound stands for every thing a true hound should hate. Big corporate America running over the little guy with heavy handed moderation and what in my opinion amounts to little more than theft.
I have emails from CH refusing to remove my images after I requested them to be taken down several times.

Hey there -- Just found your blog in an effort to locate some info on Pollan's talk last night. Thanks for posting. The news about Busa is huge -- and hadn't made it's way to Cambridge yet. Do you have any other details? Why they're selling? How public the process will be for the land? Timeframe?

Hey, Stefano! You are totally correct. A couple of weeks ago I was waiting for my cappuccino at a cafe in Savannah (http://www.galleryespresso.com/, excellent BTW) and noticed a container of Lapsang Souchong. I was amazed at just how smoky the aroma is. I'll definitely try this again the next time I get some appropriate cuts of meat from the CSA.

Hi Jay,
if you don't know Lapsang Souchong, there's no describing you how smoky that stuff is. I could promise you that it would yeld dramatically different results with respect to any other tea. To give you an idea: if you know scotch whisky, imagine the peatiness of any other whisky in comparison with that of a whisky from Islay such as Laphroaig or Lagavulin. Same difference.

BLAH!!!!!! how terrible! its people like you that make it difficult for people with dreadlocks to get jobs:( No. You've been misguided im afraid, mature dreadlocks(about 6 months old) can,and most commonly are, washed every 2 or 3 days. Dreads are all the hair you've ever lost. meaning every hair you shed each day stays on your head. So washing leaves them very very wet and drying takes much longer than usual. Washing everyday is unrealistic, and and completely unnessesary.
When dreads are new, however, yes it is reccommended you do not wash daily. This does not mean though that you should go months without washing your hair. People have done it and lived but its just not something i would suggest. Washing once or maybe twice is ideal for the first few weeks. Your scalp, for short periods, will only produce oils to replace what you've washed off. So iunno, i think that speaks for itself anyways. And there's no reason a person with dreads cant shower without washing their hair. But ya.
Hope i helped turned that stereotype around:)
lol. Have a nice day:)
